You will have a research profile that fits within the broad themes of Inequality, Diversity and Social Justice, and/or Critical Policy Analysis, and should be able to contribute in accordance with their career stage to the Group’s submission to the Research Excellence Framework (REF). An ability to teach core modules in ethnicity/racism and/or media will also be an advantage.

For appointment as a Lecturer you will have started to establish a record of high quality scholarly publications or have the potential to do so and you will have, or expect to obtain in the near future, a relevant PhD.

For appointment as a Senior Lecturer you will also have an excellent record of publications in international journals and external research grant funding together with evidence of leadership skills.

Salary range for a Lecturer is £32,267 to £44,607 per annum (dependent on skills and experience)

Salary range for a Senior Lecturer is £45,941 to £53,233 per annum
