The future institute member should have an excellent research record in the theoretical and practical aspects of policy analysis, in comparative welfare state research, and also in specific policy areas (preferably education, economics, social and/or health policy. International and interdisciplinary networks that extend also to practical applications of policy analysis are welcome. The integration of gender and diversity perspectives is also an asset.

Candidates should have a postdoctoral qualification ("Habilitation") or equivalent scholarly achievements as well as substantial teaching experience. A commitment to administrative duties is also expected.
