The journal's editors Nils Bandelow (Brunswick), Peter Biegelbauer (Vienna), Fritz Sager (Bern) and Klaus Schubert (Muenster) present a journal focusing on Europe and thus addressing an international audience and invite everyone who is interested to be part of EPA – as a reader, guest editor or author. If you wish to submit an article, you're welcome to answer our call for papers, which you find by reading on. There is also a first call for special issue guest editors.

European Policy Analysis Call for Papers European Policy Analysis (EPA) is a double blind peer-reviewed journal on policy research with an emphasis on European countries, issues and studies (and/or) which follows a comparative approach (and/or) which contributes to the theoretical understanding of policy research under the aegis of the Policy Studies Organization (PSO). It appears twice a year, in January and in September as online, e-book and print version. General editors are Nils C. Bandelow (Brunswick), Peter Biegelbauer (Vienna), Fritz Sager (Bern) and Klaus Schubert (Muenster). EPA invites previously unpublished papers and quality articles that fall within its scope. Number 2/2015 will be an open issue that invites individual previously unpublished papers within the context of the journal. We are especially interested in survey articles that present the European state-of- the-art for major theoretical or practical concepts of policy analysis such as “Institutions”, “Policy Learning”, “Evaluation”, “Policy Advice”, “Advocacy Coalition Framework in the European Context”, “Multiple Streams Approach in the European Context”, “Punctuated Equilibrium Theory in the European Context”, “Programmatic Actors”, “Actor-centered Institutionalism”, “Multi- Level Policy-Making in the European Context” and other similar contributions. We also invite overviews on regional perspectives on public policy in Europe ranging from country reports (e.g. “Policy Analysis in France”, “Policy Analysis in Russia”, “Policy Analysis in Slovenia”) to regional ones (e.g., Policy Analysis in the Baltic Countries”) and similar contributions. You are welcome to propose any topic that falls into the scope of the journal. However, EPA especially looks for guest editors who organize a special issue for the following topic: “Energy policy in Europe after Fukushima” Energy policy has always been influenced by environmental activism and events that raised political concern about nuclear power. The special issue should focus on the energy policy change in Europe due to the ultimate unimaginable disaster in Fukushima in 2011.
