City University of Hong Kong is a dynamic, fast-growing university that is pursuing excellence in research and professional education. Duties

Be an active researcher, dedicated to university teaching and supervision of students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including Bachelor's, Master's and PhD degrees. The appointees are also required to undertake administrative responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Department.




Requirements




A PhD in Social Science related disciplines, with teaching experience and strong evidence of research potential. Applications are encouraged from scholars who are able to make a strong theoretical and empirical contribution in any area of public management. For appointment at Associate Professor level, a substantial track record of published research in internationally recognized outlets is expected. For post (a), an interest in human resource management would be particularly valuable. For post (b), an interest in public finance/budgeting is required, as is a good knowledge of the local/regional context.
